A department store associate recently told us that a gentleman purchased for donation 300 of the MOST needed item at many women's shelters - BRAS! Even after sales and discounts, 300 bras probably cost the man over $4500. Of course, what a wonderful thing to do! But working with him we could have helped him donate over 900 well-made, lovely bras with that kind of investment. Let us help you make the most of your giving dollars, too.
Despite the ongoing generosity of community and corporate donors, individuals in shelters and on the street still struggle to maintain protection from the elements and enjoy the dignity due to all. Charity drives can result in donations purchased by well-meaning benefactors who are unfamiliar with homelessness and the dire situations that are a reality for many. We source a variety of sturdy styles and colors in the most-needed sizes, ages, styles and gender types in a focused way that helps potential donors give meaningful and lasting gifts. At the same time we look for clothing that helps recipients feel good about themselves and seen as individuals.
In-Kindness is made possible by your kindness. We stretch your giving dollars to bring the most needed in-kind gifts to the homeless. We do not ship to the public, but instead match your donations with 501c3 organizations in need and deliver YOUR gifts to them!
In-Kindness does the bargain shopping for you to deliver new, quality underwear, socks, clothing, coats, boots and shoes that homeless shelters need on a constant basis. Backpacks, blankets, towels, bedding and toiletries are used by the hundreds monthly. We work with shelters to anticipate inventory shortages and upcoming needs. Not glamorous but efficient and thrifty. Years of retail, non-profit management and fundraising experience give us the edge on great pricing. You can “shop” on this site and choose where you want your donation dollars to go from the available products. We return your receipt from the organization for tax purposes, if requested.

Our all-volunteer organization was founded November 1, 2020 in extraordinary times.
We are working on obtaining Utah charity status but our books are always open and you can be assured you will not pay one penny more than we did for your donated items. No one at In-Kindness profits in any way from this effort.
